Since 1983, El Papiol’s Cherry Festival has been a celebration of the land, its harvest and the people who have shaped the village’s farming traditions. It all began with an exceptional cherry harvest and has since become a much-loved local tradition, celebrating the village’s heritage and identity, with cherries at its heart. Today, the festival looks to the future by bringing together local food, traditional flavours, locally made products and small businesses, while keeping its roots alive. It’s a celebration of El Papiol’s past, present and future, and of the land, food and people that make it special.
